Introduction
From the shawls and tassels on Mazu's body to the patterns on her robes, the pink thread technique commonly used by craftsmen in the past has been replaced by the fine carvings of craftsmen. The figure, which is close to realistic proportions, exudes the dignity and kindness of Mazu and the Queen of Heaven in a slightly turned sideways posture.
