賦予社頭織襪廢棄物新生命 Breathing New Life into Waste Socks in Shetou Township

彰化社頭具有臺灣最知名的織襪產業，同時也存在織襪廢棄物的去化問題。除了在紡織過程中剪斷的紗線頭「紗仔屎」，也有在縫合襪頭時剪除的「襪仔屎」，以及因品管淘汰的「瑕疵襪」或「單隻襪」等。
苑手作品牌使用這些織襪廢棄物轉化為各式手作體驗材料包，主要藉由教育及企業福利員工活動將循環議題推廣，同時藉由參與者的雙手為織襪廢棄物轉生為公益物件，串連至有需要的管道使用。
Shetou Township in Changhua is famous for its socks industry, but it also faces issues with sock waste disposal. In addition to leftover yarn from the weaving process, there are also sock scraps and defective socks.
YUANMADE transforms this waste into various material kits, promoting recycling primarily through educational programs and employee welfare activities. At the same time, participants transform waste socks into objects for public welfare through their craftsmanship.
