The special delivery motorcycle was a unique and well-known industry in Beitou. It is a kind of delivery service, transporting both people and goods. No buses went to Heart Village, located on a hillside, back then and villagers could only walk up and down the hill. As a result, they would call a special delivery motorcycle to pick them up when they bought too much groceries or simply did not want to climb the slope. Sometimes, they even asked the special delivery motorcycle rider to deliver lunch to children.
Nowadays, the special delivery motorcycle service still thrives in Beitou. Alongside Heart Village and the military hospital, it has withstood the passage of time, serving as a bridge between the past and the present and carrying forward the cherished history and culture of Beitou.
