Li Tai-Hsiang’s life journey originated from the Amis village, Falangaw, in Taitung. The violin gifted by his father became a “beautiful mistake” that would keep growing throughout his life. As time has passed, we explore the unfettered journey of his music master through archives and other materials, learning how he composed his idiosyncratic “chapters of music” for art and love. Li’s melodies have not only enriched the culture of music in Taiwan but have also launched Taiwan’s music into the global limelight, conveying profound and everlasting messages of art.
