本影片攝於松山菸廠，記錄製造新樂園香菸的過程。大批的菸葉進入松山菸廠後，作業員們將之鋪放在輸送帶上，送進自動化機器內，經過多道手續如理葉、切葉、乾燥、冷卻、捲煙、包裝，各環節皆結合機器與人工操作。最後，一箱箱成品以堆高機裝載到倉庫北側鐵路的貨車上出貨。
This footage, shot at the Songshan Tobacco Factory, documents the production process of New Paradise cigarettes. After large quantities of tobacco leaves arrived at the factory, workers spread them onto conveyor belts that transported the leaves into automated machinery. The leaves underwent several stages of processing that incorporated both mechanized and manual operations, including sorting, cutting, drying, cooling, rolling, and packaging. Finally, crates of finished products were loaded by forklift onto containers on the railroad along the north side of the warehouse for shipment.
