The creative focus of Watsons Pharmacy lies not only in depicting the architecture itself, but also in the meticulous arrangement and craftsmanship of its signboards and shopfront details. I spent considerable time repeatedly adjusting these elements of the streetscape, creating a sense of lively movement and bustling crowds within the architectural scene. Through this work, I also pay tribute to the Taiwanese gouache painter Kuo Hsueh-Hu's renowned painting Festival on South Street.
