Inspired by E.T.A. Hoffmann's The Nutcracker and the Mouse King, this work transforms the fairytale's idea that “ordinary objects can come to life through imagination” into a series of ceramic characters, creating beings that exist somewhere between reality and dreams. These nutcracker-like companions appear silent, yet seem to hold countless stories, much like the childhood memories that never truly leave us. Through the warmth of clay and the visible traces of handcrafting, the work conveys companionship and protection, inviting viewers to rediscover the tenderness held deep within.
